In Chinese airports, electronic devices may be searched by authorities



Could a passenger’s phone and computer be inspected by national security agents as soon as their owner lands at a Chinese airport? This is a concern that is growing on the Internet, following a revelation of Radio Free Asia (RFA).

“(Chinese) national security personnel will conduct random inspections of personal communications equipment starting in July,” writes the site funded by the US Congress.
