Zelensky’s “frustration” with China “reaches fever pitch”

“There is no doubt about it, the Russian and Chinese heads of state get along very well” and this is felt on the economic and military level, assured, two weeks ago, the New Zürcher Zeitung. In an article full of graphics, the Swiss newspaper explained that Beijing had not increased its arms exports to Russia, but that it was supplying more and more machines and equipment enabling the country to manufacture them. A strategy that would allow it to support “indirectly” the Kremlin without taking an official position against Ukraine.

Since then, these revelations – also relayed by the British daily Financial Times -strain relations between kyiv and Beijing. This Sunday, June 2, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – “and it’s a rare thing” – explicitly accused China of supporting Russia in the war against its country, assures me
